Nurul Haq Nur is a well-known Bangladeshi student leader who currently serves as the vice president of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU). The former Chatra League man comes to the timeline when he was beaten for participating in Quota Reform Movement in 2018 by Chatra League.

In fact, he could understand the general student’s inner mind demand and be very much active in the movement demanding student’s rights. He is also known by his nickname Nur across the country.

Nurul Haq Nur Early Life:

Nurul Haq Nur was born on January 30, 1991, in Char Biswas Union, Galachipa Upazila, Patuakhali District, Bangladesh to parents Idris Hawladar and Nilufa Begum. His father Idris Hawladar is a farmer and former Union Parishad member where the mother Nilufa Begum is a housewife.

Nur studied at  Char Biswas Janata Secondary School until class seven. Then he moved to Gazipur, Dhaka, and was admitted into Golam Nabi Secondary School, and completed SSC in 2010. Nur completed HSC from Uttara High School and College in 2012. Finally, he enrolled at the University of Dhaka in English Literature.

Political Career:

Nurul Haq Nur has been served Bangladesh Sadharan Chhatra Adhikar Sangrakshan Parishad as a joint convenor during Quoat Reform Movement in 2018. He comes to the timeline across the country by this movement.

Being aggrieved, some leaders of the Bangladesh Chatra League beat him in from of the Dhaka University Central Library on June 30, 2018, the university teacher rescues him.

In fact, he reached the highest level of success through the Quota Reform Movement. I think the Chatra League makes him an overnight leader frequently beating him. Whenever the members of Chatra League beats him Nur got the headline in the newspaper. Thus he becomes the country’s best student leader.

The part of his life yet that he was elected Vice President of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) defeating Chatra League present president Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Shovon in 2019.

Controversy:

Nurul Haq Nur was blamed for having a connection with Jamaat Shibir but he always denies these types of allegations against him. Even he was active in Bangladesh Chatra League politics. He was the office secretary of the Chatra League school committee during his schooling.

Later he served as the Deputy Human Resources Development Affairs secretary of Mohsin hall Chatra League. There was a lawsuit against Nur including the other five-person accused of the abused provost of Rokeya Hall and vandalizing during the DUCSU election.

Personal Life:

In personal life, Nurul Haq Nur is still unmarried. He is very much private about his personal life so he discloses nothing having a girlfriend or dating history.
