Sobha Viswanath is an Entrepreneur, designer, artist, and activist. She owns a clothing brand called weavers village, which has a mission to empower local artisans and preserve Indian textiles and celebrate the cultural richness of India. Controversy
On January 31, 2021, Shoba was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for having 480 grams of drugs in her clothing store in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Later she was acquitted and came to know that it was a trap by a UK-based businessman Haish Haridas (son of the Lord Hospitals founder), for denying the marriage proposal.
