She completed her SSC and HSC from here and moved to Dhaka after completing HSC. She dreamed of being an actress in her early life so she started modeling very early in Dhaka.

She made a debut on the big screen with the movie Valo Basha Shimahin in December 2013. She acted in the blockbuster movie Rana Plaza which is based on the Rana Plaza disaster. The movie is directed by Nazrul Islam Khan where Pori Moni portrays the character of Reshma, the garment female worker who incredibly survived seventeen days in the broken Rana Plaza’s rubble.

Pori Moni is the most discussed actress in Dhallywood for her bold and intimate scenes in the films. She acted with Dhallywood King Khan, and Shakib Khan in the movie Dhumketu directed by Safiq Hasan.
