Police are investigating after the bodies of a 23-year-old woman and a man in his 30s were found within hours of each other in fields near a Derbyshire village. By Saturday afternoon, a GoFundMe page created to help the Spinks family by Abbey Griffin, one of her friends, had raised over £ 1,600.

Griffin said: “Gracie was a beautiful girl at only 23 years old who had already touched so many people’s lives and what beautiful memories she leaves behind. She was a loving and caring person and she was always happy to help. She was also so stubborn and always stood up for what was right.

“If you knew Gracie, you would also know that she was crazy about horses and had the most beautiful horse named Paddy, whom she loved very much. Although no amount of money could bring Gracie back, I ask that you please donate what you can to help your family right now. We all love you so much Gracie, be there. ”

Griffin also said that she would host a balloon launch from Markham Vale Business Park, where Spinks worked, on Monday, June 28, to allow her friends to say goodbye to her.

Spinks had also been working as a model part-time, The Sun reported.

Derbyshire Police said: “We appreciate that what has happened today in Duckmanton has shocked and upset many people in the community and officers will be conducting additional patrols in the coming days. We recommend that you stop and speak to an officer if you have a concern. ”
