Colin Kaepernick is a well-known football player in the National Football League. He is a popular quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers. Colin Kaepernick was born on November 3, 1987, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was born to a 19 years old white woman, Heidi by whom left his birth father before his born. His mother was single and destitute during his birth. His father was African American. Mother Heidi gave her son to a white couple Rick and Teresa Kaepernick for adoption. The couple had previous two children a boy and a daughter but they lost two sons to heart defects and looking for a boy. Colin became the third son of the couple.

When he was only 8 years old started playing youth football as a defensive end and punter. At the age of nine, Colin became the quarterback of the youth football team. He studied at John H. Pitman High School in Turlock, California. Colin attended the University of Nevada, Reno.

Colin Kaepernick Career:

Colin Kaepernick began their college football journey in Nevada. During the Nevada period, he was named twice for the Western Athletic Offensive Player of the Year. He was selected in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. In the team, he would play the role of a backup starter of Alex Smith.

When Smith was fall-in injury, Kaepernick played a role as a full-time starter and the 49ers advanced to the NFL playoffs for the second straight season. He made a record for most rushing yards (181) as a quarterback in a single game. In the NFC Championship, beating the Atlanta Falcons, Kaepernick led the 49ers to their first Super Bowl since 1994.

In July 2015, Colin Kaepernick started dating with a television host and radio personality Nessa. But the couple officially discloses their relationship in February 2016.
