North Carolina police arrested the four suspects responsible for shooting from a vehicle Saturday night that killed a girl.

Incident details
Officers responded to the scene of the shooting along Icemorlee Street around 8 p.m. Saturday. According to the police, the teenage victim, Loyalti Allah, was hit when someone in a van opened fire.
They took her to the hospital, where she died.
“My baby was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but he was having fun and left,” said Loyalti’s mother, Yvette Allen. “I can’t get that back.”
Authorities believe the girl was sitting with friends at a picnic table when a black Ford van passed and someone inside began shooting. The truck sped away after the shooting, police said.
Suspects arrested
Monroe police quickly arrested 20-year-old Javon Damontre Robinson, charging him with first-degree murder, and said they had identified three other suspects. By Sunday night, the four were in custody, WSOC reported.
In addition to Robinson, 19-year-old Darius Roland, 22-year-old Jamarius Crowder, and Jamarius McClain have been arrested.
A WBTV reporter was present when Robinson was taken to jail and asked if he had anything to say to Allah’s mother. “I’m sorry for your loss,” he replied. “I didn’t mean to go down that way.”
The picnic table where the shooting took place quickly became a memorial Sunday.
Police report
“Our officers have done an incredible job of leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the people who committed this crime are not only identified but are also arrested and brought to justice,” said Monroe Police Chief Bryan Gilliard.
“This is such a devastating act that it has far-reaching implications that were totally unjustified. These people took an innocent life for no reason, and now a family and a community have to live with this forever. ”
Multiple bullet casings were found at the scene, and police said they also recovered the 2004 Ford SUV involved.
No other person was injured during the shooting.
