After a big breakthrough, she appeared in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Balaji Telefilms in 2011. In the following year, Sumona participated the comedy show Kapil Sharma and Kahani Comedy Circus Ki on Sony TV. In 2016, she also played the role Kapil Sharma’s wife in ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ After she returned to the screen with Sony TV’s The Kapil Sharma Show which she played the role of Sarla Gulati. In 2018, the show came back with the second season in which she played the role Bhuri. The actress also appeared in two travel shows like Dubai Diaries and Swiss Made Advetures on NDTV.
