He migrated to Mumbai in quest of a dancing career after completing his education in Gujarat. He started the Super Brats dance studio at Churni Road with four initial students.
He formerly resided in Mumbai’s Bandra station during his hard times.
Despite not having received any formal dancing training, he admired Michael Jackson.
He made his Bollywood debut in 1995 with the movie “Rangeela,” working as choreographer Ahmed Khan’s assistant.
He also used to work as a background dancer at the beginning of his Bollywood career.
Sonu Nigam’s album Deewana featured his first popular music video, which was a tremendous success. But his breakthrough came when he choreographed the item number “Ishq Samundar” in the movie “Kaante” (2002).
