Early Life & Education
Born and brought in Tinsukia, Assam, India. Neel Akash was a big fan of Zubeen Garg from his childhood and grew up as a music lover. In his early life, he used to dance “Husori Bihu” a popular folk dance in Assam. But didn’t think to become a singer. After graduation from Tinsukia College, he started working with music as his elder brother was related to music. Neel Akash got support from his father, mother and his native brother. Currently, he lives in Moran, Dibrugarh, Assam.
Career, Net Worth
Neel Akash started his career in 2008 by singing stage programmes in the Bihu functions of Assam. Many music directors and composers recognized his voice as a singer. In 2016 he released his first solo album, “Bihuwan” which got his stardom on Youtube & People of Assam. Following the year Neel again offered a popular music album namely, “Enajori“. This album was a hit by Strom. Later, he released the Bihuwan- volume 2 and Enajori-volume 2 in 2017. Neel Akash’s solo track “O Sakuntala” from Bihuwan got more than 10 million views on Youtube. The songs on the album are the reflection of his passion and hard work of 8 years.
His other popular song includes Summa, Magor Bihu Ahil, Tomar Sokur Kajol, Masole Goisilung, Maihang, Rangdhali, etc. Neel Akash also acted in many music video songs. He has sung Assamese Bihu song with the popular genre “RAP” in Assamese Bihu culture which is called as “RAP BIHU”. Neel Akash has been performing in the Bihu function and programme of Assam for the last 11 years.
