Manohar Parrikar was a famous Indian politician and former Chief Minister of Goa as a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Earlier, he served as the Minister of Defence from 2014 to 2017. He died of cancer on March 17, 2019, as like his wife Medha Parrikar who died in 2000 after a long battle with cancer.
