Lleyton Glynn Hewitt AM is an Australian former world No. 1 tennis player. He is the most recent Australian man to win a major singles title, with two at the 2001 US Open and 2002 Wimbledon Championships.

At the age of 20, he became the world’ no. 1 tennis player which made him the youngest male to be hailed as the best tennis player in the world. His most notable achievements include his triumphs in international events like the 2001 US Open,  2000 US Open men’s doubles, 2002 Wimbledon men’s singles, and Tennis Masters Cup ( now known as ATP World Tour Finals, in 2001 and 2002. In 2005, he was hailed by TENNIS Magazine as the 34th on its list of the 40 greatest tennis players since 1965.
