Kyle Seager’s Retirement Signals a New Era for the Seattle Mariners

It was perhaps the only way for Kyle Seager to go out. No fanfare. No press conference. Just a short statement from Seager that his wife, Julie, posted on her Twitter account Wednesday. “Today I’m announcing my retirement from Major League Baseball. Thank you to all of my family, friends and fans for following me throughout my career. It’s been a wonderful ride but I am unbelievably excited for the next chapter of my life.” Kyle Seager wouldn’t be wearing a Mariners uniform next year, but not many predicted that he wouldn’t be wearing any uniform at all. Kyle Seager was born on 3rd November 1987 with the birth name of Kyle Duerr Seager. He is from Charlotte, North Carolina, the USA.
