Jon was born on 10 July 1981 in Dhaka. His father is a businessman and his mother is a housewife, he completed his schooling in his hometown and he is graduated from the  North-south university Bangladesh.

In 3 December 2018, he posted a photo in his Facebook account with singer Tahsan’s former spouse Mithila, with the caption “content” which make him viral. Mithila and Tahsan were married for 11 years.
