Imrul Kayes was born on February 02, 1987, in Meherpur, Bangladesh. Cricket was a passion in his early life. In 2006, Imrul Kayes made their debut in first-class cricket, playing 15 matches and 16 one-day matches prior to being called up for the international match.

Imrul Kayes Career:

Imrul Kayes made their debut in international cricket on October 14, 2008, against New Zealand in the third match of the series in Chittagong. The debut match was not good for him only scored 12 runs in the match. He made a test cricket debut on 19 November 2008, against South Africa opened the batting, and only scored 10 and 4 in his two innings. Later he found form, 2010 was the golden year of his career, scored 867 runs, and became the 5th highest ODIs run-scorer of the year. In the same year, he made his maiden century against New Zealand.
