Not much is known about Santos’ early life. She was born on August 8, 1980, in Napa Valley, California, USA. She is of Filipino and Russian/German heritage and is a US and Canadian dual citizen. As a child, she lived in Singapore, the Philippines, Canada, and the United States.
Santos spent her first year of college as a “jazz voice major”. She has performed lead and supporting roles in a number of musicals and has sung in numerous vocal jazz groups. She eventually received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
