François-Henri Pinault was born on May 28, 1962, in Rennes, France to François Pinault and Louise Gautier. His father is a French billionaire, founder of the luxury group Kering and the investment company Artémis. He received a bachelor’s degree from HEC School of Management in 1985.

François-Henri Pinault tied a knot with a beautiful lady Dorothée Lepère in 1996. After 8 years together they separated in 2004 and he began dated supermodel Linda Evangelista in 2005. He has a son François and a daughter Mathilde by his first marriage with Dorothée Lepère.
