Daiizee Das also known as Dimpi is an Indian Assamese singer and actor from Guwahati, Assam. Daiizee makes her debut as a singer with the song “Ringa Ringa” in 2017. She is a trained Bihu dancer and held two Vishard degrees in classical music. Her songs ‘Silimili Tuponi‘, ‘Moi Tur Hobo Khujim‘ and ‘Koune Baru Moi’ are recent hits all over Assam. Early Life & Education
Daiizee Das is brought up in Abhayapuri, Bongaigaon. Her father’s name is Ranjit Kumar Das, who worked under Public Works Department and her mother’s name is Purnima Das, serving as a teacher. Daiizee has a younger sister in her family.
Daiizee completed her schooling at ‘Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Abhayapuri’. After completing her 10th, she went to ‘Sankardev Academy, Abhayapuri’ and passed higher secondary from there.
Daiizee Das pursued Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) from North Eastern Regional Institute of Management (NERIM), Guwahati. She was active in singing and dancing since her school days before entering professionally into the field of music.
Career
After pursuing BCA, though Daiizee Das started working as a Computer faculty, simultaneously she started performing music professionally and makes her debut with the music video ‘Ringa Ringa’ which got released on 17 Dec 2017. She released the song ‘Silimili Tuponi‘ on her Youtube channel in 2020, which is one of the biggest hit of that year. By the end of the year 2020, another song “Moi Tur Hobo Khujim” came to the song list of Daiizee Das, which was highly appreciated by the people of Assam. “Koune Baru Moi” is another hit song by Daiizee which was released on January 2021. The report says that in the year 2021, she will give three more songs to the people of Assam, and one of these songs will be in collaboration with singer Zubeen Garg.
Personal Life
Daiizee is in a relationship with Neelam Bora from Golaghat since 2018 and they got happily engaged in March 2021.
