Aziz Mohammad Bhai Early Life:

Aziz Mohammad Bhai was born in 1962, in Armanitola, Dhaka, Bangladesh to parents Mohammad Bhai and Khadija Mohammad Bhai in a renowned Muslim family. His family comes to Bangladesh from Gujrat, India after the partition of the country in 1947. He has Persean ancestry. The family started a business in Old Dhaka and earned huge hype in the business.

Aziz Mohammad Bhai started career journey involving himself in the family business. He is a lifetime member of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce. Aziz is a director of Olympic Industries Limited. Moreover, he owns the business Olympic Battery, Olympic Ballpen, Olympic Bread, Olympic Biscuits, MB Farmaceuticals, MB Fim.

Besides this, he has a hotel and resort business in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand. It is known, he is involved in the drug business and has a close relationship with Mumbai’s Don Dawood Ibrahim.

Controversy:

Aziz Mohammad Bhai has been embroiled in controversy for connection in illegal activities. He was arrested during During the reign of Hussein Muhammad Ershad for the first time. The Aga Khan, Prince Karim Aga Khan comes to Bangladesh to release him from jail.

He was alleged in the murder of famous hero Salman Shah in 1997 and arrested several times but released lack of legal proof. Police had filed a case of suicide and arrested Rezvi Ahmed who confesses that Aziz Mohammad Bhai and Salman Shah’s wife Samira was the mastermind behind the murder.

Later, Rezvi recanted his confession. Aziz is barred from entering India as his passport was impounded. He was also accused of connection in the murder of popular actor Sohel Chowdhury.

In addition, Aziz Mohammad was accused of manufacturing yaba tablets in 2007. In 2013, his nephew Amyn Huda was sentenced to prison for 79 years in this case.
