Then in 2005 Alex again took admission in the University of Nottingham where he studied BA Business Management but he did complete his college education because he felt that he would left-back with student loan if he continues his further studies so, finally he focused towards his entrepreneurial journey. In 2008, Alex founded another company named Popjam, which was an online news aggregation platform that allows users to discover and share funny content. It was closed in 2011.
In 2006, Alex Also founded Pixelotto, a website offering a large grid image for advertisers to pay and add their graphics which was closed in 2015.

So, he founded his first technology venture, i.e “Million Dollar Homepage (www.milliondollarhomepage.com)” to raise money for his university education. The website consisted of a million pixels arranged in a 1000 × 1000 pixel grid, the image-based links on it were sold for $1 per pixel in 10 × 10 blocks. The purchasers of these pixel blocks provided tiny images to be displayed on them. The aim of the website was to sell all of the pixels in the image, thus generating a million dollars of income for the creator. And with that Million Dollar Homepage which was his first technology venture, he became a millionaire at the age of 21 within four months of Million Dollar Homepage.
